Prestonwood Piranhas - LAST HOME MEET – Activities, Tradition, and Requests!

Hello Piranha Families!!!

The season is moving along SO fast, and tomorrow (Tuesday) is our last home meet of the season!  Thank you all for your help, support, getting loud, and cheering on our swimmers.  Let's keep it going!

A couple of points outside of the normal logistics for tomorrow night's meet:

1.Parent Tunnel - After warm-ups before our last home meet vs Sunset Ridge, all of our swimmers will be directed to the snack bar area, where they will start their run through the parent tunnel. All parents, friends, and guests are encouraged to build a human tunnel to celebrate the accomplishments of all swimmers this season!

2.Pie In The Face – As goes with tradition, immediately following the meet, one lucky swimmer will get to pie each coach in the face! Raffle tickets will be for sale before and during the meet, and each ticket will be able to be placed in a box corresponding to one of our coaches (including Coach Breanne)!!! PLEASE REMEMBER to bring CASH to the meet tomorrow for the raffle tickets. 5 Tickets for $5, 25 Tickets for $20. All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics as well as a local charity.

3.Coaches Fund – As a reminder for some and sharing for our new families, each year, all of our families get together to recognize our coaches in an extra special way during the end of season banquet. The Coaches Fund gift is a cash gift given to every coach to honor their hard work all season. Contributions are anonymous, and can be made in any of the following ways.

a. Cash can be given to me (Mark Fortuniewicz) at any of the meets (including Cary City) or to any Parent Committee Member.

b. Feel free to Venmo me at @Mark-Fortuniewicz, with the last four digits of my phone number being 7418.

c. Feel free to send via PayPal to [email protected]

d. Donations are required no later than July 17.

Let's ALL make sure to get extra LOUD at our meet tomorrow night, and stay tuned for more information from Coach Breanne about tomorrow, the Cary City Meet, the end of season banquet, and more!

Piranha Pride,

Mark Fortuniewicz and the Parent Committee
