Hi! I am Lindsey Bishop or Coach Lindsey! I am so happy to be back for another summer. I have been a member of the Prestonwood Swim Team for 7 years and this will be my 6th year of coaching. I am graduating from Clemson University this May with a degree in Elementary Education. In the fall, I will be a 5th grade Math and Science teacher in South Carolina. I am so excited to be back at the pool this summer, look forward to meeting new swimmers and families and seeing familiar faces. I love this team and cannot wait to watch everyone grow as swimmers and people. Go Piranhas!
I grew up in Cary before moving to Raleigh in high school. My swimming journey began here, at age 5, as a piranha where I quickly fell in love with the sport. I also swam for Marlins of Raleigh, being a member of every team relay record to date. I was also a captain of the Ravenscroft swim team my senior year of high school, helping lead the team to its first state championship in 22 years! I recently finished my first Division I season for the Bucknell Bison. I am incredibly excited to being coaching the piranhas this summer!
Hi, I'm Lizzy. This will be my first year coaching at Prestonwood. I am a rising sophomore at Davidson College and a part of the Division I swimming program. I am majoring in economics. I have been swimming competitively since I was 6 years old and spend my summers back home in Apex. I can't wait to be a part of the team!
After two seasons as the Head Coach (2023 & 2024) Breanne now operates as the Swim Team Director. She will still be around the pool, coaching at some practices and helping the coaches and the team have another fun and successful season. Breanne is still your main contact for questions or concerns with swim team.
About Breanne: "My family and I are members here at Prestonwood; we moved to Cary from Arlington, VA in July of 2019. I started swimming at my local summer pool when I was 5 and fell in love with the sport. After completing my own swimming career in 2001, I began coaching and have experience a most every level: summer league, high school coaching, club swimming and NCAA (Div III)."
